SKETCHBOOK
I want you to have ownership over your sketchbook in art four. I am not going to give you specific prompts very often, but at the end of the semester, you will have a final sketchbook grade. You should have at least 25 pages, and these twenty five pages should be filled up front and back.
To break this down, you should have about ten pages done each month. The first page should be your cover page, and the back of that page (page 2) should be your table of contents. After that, its yours to draw in. Consider that May is not complete, so plan accordingly.
Some ideas:
project readiness-- sketching out ideas, planning your project.
drawing people, faces, facial proportions, gesture drawing
comics (not just cartoons. complete the scene)
landscapes
animals
buildings in perspectives
something off the prompt list
artist studies
manikin studies
hands
